Information for Authors

Computer Engineering and Applications (ComengApp) Journal has specific Author Guidelines for submitting articles. Those instructions and guidelines are readily available on the submission service site. Please read and review them carefully. Articles that are not submitted in accordance with our instructions and guidelines are more likely to be rejected. Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in and begin the five-step process. The papers must written by following the instructions:

  • Submission of a manuscript indicates that the paper has not been published in any other journal.
  • All papers will be acknowledged and refereed.
  • For reviewing purposes, the papers have to be prepared as follows:
  • The paper should be written in English.
  • The paper is in doc/docx
  • The number of the pages is 10 to 12 letter paper.
  • The margin is 3 cm of mirror margins to the left, right, top and bottom of the paper.
  • The font size for text is 12 point Times New Roman, except for the title, which is 14 point Times New Roman
  • The pages are single columns.
  • The names and the e-mail addresses of the authors as well as the authors’ affiliations and their addresses should be written under the title.
  • The abstract should be written in English but not more than 250 words.   The keywords follow the abstract.
  • The paper should contain the common sections used for computer science paper, like (for more detailed information please consult the author guideline).
  • The composition of the references used should consist of 80% of primary references (journals, proceedings) and a maximum of 20% of secondary references (text book) published in the last 5 years and each article should have at least ten references 
  • The editors have the rights to edit the paper without altering the main idea of the paper
  • The manuscript should be submitted online.

The copyright to the published article is transferred to ComengApp Journal. The authors must declare that the accepted paper has not been published in the same form elsewhere and it will not be submitted anywhere else for publication prior to acceptance/rejection by this Journal.
